Biography

Johanna Bellon, PhD, MS, CFA, is the Director of Quality Analytics at UPMC Wolff Center for Quality, Safety, and Innovation. She recently completed her PhD in Health Services Research and Policy at the University of Pittsburgh. She is interested in how healthcare organizations innovate and effectively achieve sustainable changes within a challenging and turbulent environment.

Dr. Bellon and the Wolff Center assisted in the design of the quality improvement study as part of Aim 3, tier 2 of The Caregiver Project. The objective is to utilize data from electronic health records to evaluate compliance and patient outcomes following implementation of the CARE Act.
